Finding time for professional development as a postdoc can be difficult to factor into your working life. Here is an opportunity to develop a broad range of key skills, all in one go, and to build your interdisciplinary networks.
The Postdoc Academy and CAM-DTP are offering a two-day ‘boot camp’ delivering training on leadership, publishing and copyright, grant writing, career planning, EDI as a researcher and more. The event culminates in a mini-research symposium where postdocs will have the opportunity to share their research with each other and with senior academics.
Some elements of the training are loosely based around research in the social sciences but are not restricted to it, and we welcome anyone who would like to share their research and meet others from outside their discipline.
The training will take place in-person at the Eddington Postdoc Centre from 10:00-16:00 on Wednesday 29th and Thursday 30th January, with lunches and morning and afternoon refreshments.
