CEB Intranet

The introduction of myHR (date to be confirmed), the University's new HR and Payroll system, is a key part of the HR Transformation Programme which aims to streamline processes and enable everyday HR activities to be done in a consistent way.

Some examples of how myHR will support staff include:

  • All employees will be able to access and manage their own employment information, plus arrange different types of leave and update their address or emergency contact information.  See myHR and me for all employees, including postdocs.
  • Leaders and managers across all staff groups, including research group leads and professional service managers, will have direct access to relevant employment details about their team members and allow them to complete tasks such as approving leave. They will also have access to reports and data about their team. See myHR and me for all managers, including PIs.
  • HR and administrative teams will use consistent and efficient online processes (and fewer paper forms), allowing more time to focus on value-adding activities that deliver an overall improved employee experience, supporting retention and creating a productive and positive environment.

Overall, the HR Transformation Programme will deliver a broad range of benefits to improve the employee experience, with improved efficiency and information sharing, and straightforward ways for us as an organisation to monitor and report on compliance. Looking ahead, the increased access to high-quality data will help to focus on sustained organisational development that supports our growing workforce.
