What is Climate Tech and who should come to the Coffee Chats (according to the Cambridge Climate Society)

Climate Tech (others call it green tech or clean tech) is the engineering and technology answer to the climate crisis. Climate Tech aims to leverage advancements in science, engineering, and technology across the fields of biology, chemistry, physics, maths, and computer science to create innovative solutions for climate change prevention, mitigation, and adaptation. With the monthly Climate Tech Coffee Chats, the group aim to build a community in Cambridge for students and researchers who are enthusiastic about their field and passionate about sustainability. If you would like to meet like-minded people and learn more about how the research and tech being developed in your field can help to fight the climate crisis, you should go along.

Organisers: "We hope to see you all at our first Climate Tech Coffee Chat!"
