Bio:
Dr Strawbridge is an accomplished stem cell biologist working at the interface between theoretical and experimental biology. He completed his training in Cambridge with Prof Austin Smith, Prof Jennifer Nichols and Dr Srinjan Basu where he was a Henry Wellcome Fellow. Dr Starwbridge opened his own lab at the University of Sheffield at the tail end of last year. His research focuses on understanding stem cell decision-making, how gradients are established in the embryo and how this relates to transcription factor networks that ultimately determine cell states.
