Imperial College London extends an invitation to a symposium on Thermodynamics Tools for Sustainable Development. More info from the organisers below:

Join us for this exciting 1-day symposium, organised by the Statistical Mechanics & Thermodynamics Group-RSC on Thermodynamics Tools for Sustainable Development at Imperial College London on the 7th of February 2025. Discover how thermodynamic approaches are driving significant breakthroughs across a broad range of research disciplines and applications, with a particular focus on sustainable development goals.

The programme will feature invited speakers across a broad range of industrial research areas. The invited speakers will also be complemented by student talks and a poster session to provide further networking opportunities and discussion for all attendees. This event is designed for PhD candidates and early-career researchers eager to delve into the intersection of thermodynamics and sustainability in their work. Updates can be found at the event page: https://www.rsc.org/events/detail/80407/thermodynamic-tools-for-sustainable-development. Final program schedule will be published in early January.

The abstract submissions for oral talks and poster session are now open on different subjects: https://events.rsc.org/rsc/frontend/reg/tAbsSubmitterLogin.csp?pageID=1127597&eventID=3114.

Early bird registration deadline is 20 December 2024. To register follow the link: https://events.rsc.org/rsc/frontend/reg/tSelectBookingMode.csp?pageID=1127615&eventID=3114&tempPersonID=1286100.

Join us for some exciting discussions and to share your ideas with key members of the thermodynamics modelling community.
