Counting down. There is now 10 months to go before 14th Oct.
This is when Windows 10 goes to end of life and you will either need to upgrade your existing PC; if it is new enough. Or to get a new PC.
Best to get it done sooner, rather than later.
3 important points to consider....
As the October date approaches, i suspect the £ cost of new windows 11 PCs to rise by a fair amount.
Also supply of these PCs might well be constrained due to demand as a lot of people will want to order new ones, before the cut off date !
As well as if the IT team will have the whole of CEB to change over, and the start of a new term to run. Then it is very likely to get very busy, and there will be a waiting list for the upgrade / rebuild to get done.
After the 14th Oct. Old OS Win 10 is unsupported. It will continue to run, but will not be allowed to connect to the CEB network. So no internet connection!
