Essential works will be carried out at the West Cambridge Data Centre on Thursday, 18 September. UIS notes that this will affect the availability of some services hosted at the data centre.
The following will be unavailable on 18 September:
- University Finance System (UFS)
- Cognos
- The Research Dashboard
- Tableau
Research Computing Services will be unavailable from the morning of Wednesday 17 September until the evening of Friday 19 September. This includes:
- Cambridge Research Cloud (Arcus)
- Cambridge Service for Data Driven Discovery (CSD3)
- Dawn supercomputer
- Research Cold Store (RCS)
- Research Data Store (RDS)
- Research File Store (RFS)
- Secure Research Computing Platform (SRCP)
Other services will be transferred to a secondary site prior to 18 September. In some cases, this will involve a brief outage during a regular vulnerability period, which will be announced separately by UIS.
