The Parliamentary Office of Science and Technology (POST), in partnership with the Institution of Chemical Engineers (IChemE) and the Materials Processing Institute, are offering a three-month Fellowship to engineers who have completed a degree at undergraduate Masters level or above in a discipline related to chemical or process engineering, or have equivalent industry experience. There is one funded Fellowship available.

Former CEB researcher Akshay Deshmukh was awarded the Ashok Kumar fellowship in 2016:

"The Ashok Kumar Fellowship gave me unique insight into the crucial role of science policy in Parliament and the chance to engage with leading experts across government, industry, and academia in an area completely new to me. Working alongside POST’s amazing scientific advisors, I learned how to distil complex scientific and policy material into a clear, concise briefing for MPs, greatly helping me grow as a researcher."
