The Accessibility & Disability Resource Centre (ADRC) is currently recruiting Study Skills Tutors to support neurodivergent and disabled students in STEM subjects, on a part-time basis. Study Skills Tutors support students to overcome barriers to their learning with a toolkit of strategies in areas such as:
 
•    planning and structuring assignments
•    reading and notetaking
•    academic writing
•    revision
•    time management and organisation
 
We are looking for applicants who hold a postgraduate degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) subjects. Study Skills Tutors should have a good understanding of neurodiversity and disability.
 
Hours of work vary, but we’re looking for applicants who are available for at least 5 hours per week. The pay rate is £40 per hour.
 
Please note that this role is not open to current undergraduate or Masters/MPhil students, or to any students who are themselves currently receiving ADRC study skills support.
